Public domain symbols

Symbol Things only uses symbols that are in the public domain — signs, letters, zodiac marks, emblems and motifs that belong to everyone. We do not knowingly use or reproduce logos, trademarks or other protected marks. If you believe something on this site infringes your trademark or other rights, please contact us at team@silvesterandco.com with details of the mark and the page it appears on, and we will review it promptly.

Our designers' intellectual property

The underlying symbols are public domain, but each design shown on this site is our designers' own interpretation. Our designers claim ownership of their designs to the extent that they are their version of the public-domain symbol — the drawing, proportions, line and finish. If you would like to reproduce a design, please get in touch at team@silvesterandco.com and we can supply the digital file and a production licence for that design.

Prohibited hate symbols

We do not make, sell or display symbols that are prohibited under Australian law. We follow the Australian Government's lists of certain prohibited hate symbols and will decline any request or commission for them, or for anything designed to resemble them.
