A jeweller, not a store

Plating is a few microns of gold over brass or silver. It wears through at the edges within a year or two of daily wear, and it cannot be repaired — only re-plated. Everything we make is solid: sterling silver, 9ct gold, 18ct gold, platinum. A solid piece can be polished, resized, re-engraved and passed on.

Each piece carries its fineness mark (925, 375, 750, PT950) and our maker's mark, struck rather than laser-etched. On small pieces like studs the mark sits on the post.

Symbols are drawn, cut as a steel die and struck, then finished by hand. Signet faces are hand-engraved. Everything is made in small batches so that the daily drop is genuinely a limited edition, not a print run.

Every parcel ships as a wrapped present: bone paper, silk ribbon in your chosen colour, and a card written by hand at our card desk. There is no invoice and no prices inside, so it can go straight to the recipient. Your receipt goes to your email only.

Sterling silver is ready to ship and leaves us in two to three days. 9ct gold is a limited run of three per symbol — once those are gone it becomes made to order at three to four weeks. 18ct gold and platinum are always made to order, four weeks, on a 50% deposit.
